Politics and power

In the current era of globalization, often issues arise relating to politics. Politics is basically the study of a particular aspect of public life concerned about power among others. While , according to Maran (1999 ) politics is a special study of the ways through which humans solve problems together with another man . In other words , politics is a variety of activities in a political system or country regarding the process and implementation purposes . Achieving such a goal requires some strength and authority; the presence of these two often used to foster cooperation and to resolve conflicts that may arise in the process. Indonesia's political system is a democratic system in accordance with the Indonesian people’s Pancasila Democracy . Pancasila democracy is understood to have originated in the personality and philosophy of life which are manifestations of Indonesia, stated in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution .

Political conditions in Indonesia experienced problems that led to uncertainty, which caused decline in Indonesian politics which wasn’t healthy. Many politicians in the country were involved in corruption cases, which affects the performance of the existing politicians. If Indonesia is led by politicians who are corrupt then what will happen in Indonesia in subsequent times? Hence, all depends on us who determine the fate of this nation in the future. Cases of rampant corruption in Indonesia made people's confidence to erode in the leader of the Indonesian nation. Many people  consider politics dirty, but actually it’s not politics that is dirty but the people who are involved in cases of gross corruption make it dirty .

           In political life there are legal issues that make Indonesian politics unstable and unhealthy. Unhealthy culture is what makes the political opposition in Indonesia non-qualified and counterproductive.In such a scenario, its the youth who should  be able to contribute to the Indonesian people, not just rely on the government in handling issues, but be the ones who to step forward to uphold the truth and make it know to the people.

Many people decide to get into politics simply because it's close to the community and some to gain power . On the other hand , politics is also to manage and control the affairs of the community and be used as a means to convey kindness and truth to the public. Essentially politics is a medium to convey the goodness and truth through the people entrusted with the mandate to manage the affairs efficiently. Hence it’s important for the youth to get involved in politics, root out corruption and play an important part in the development of the Indonesian society.
