Who do I think I am
Who do I think I am,
A woman on her journey, no distractions in need of a real motivation
Who do I think I am
Resilient amongst the pressure,
You say I’m selfish, I say I am selfless,
At that stage in life, my dreams should surround a family plan,
Should be tuning into TLC
Yet I’m tuned in to Wealth TV
Dreaming with my mind, yet dancing with my feet
You say I’m strange
Uh no I know I’m exceptional,
But better strange than average
I’ve got goals and ambitions, I speak them clearly
Yet he continues to misunderstand me
Pestering me,
Time, I need your time, think of someone other than yourself
My thoughts retort “Aren’t you selfless?”
Too focused, my imaginations take me to Pluto
Formulating my next step
Time, I need your time, think of someone other than yourself
Lying next to me, touching me,
But my mind is on that wise old ‘sug-ar’ daddy
You might know him, his name Wallace D. Wattles.

Who do I think I am
I’d like to work in the Mediterranean for a year,
Did I say I’ve got goals and ambitions?
He interrupts, do you even care to share your life with me, time invested yet it suddenly feels
wasted
I ignore
Time to cuddle,
I reply don’t you see me working?
A woman on her journey, no distractions in need of a real motivation
Temper tantrums thrown, he’s in need of emotional intelligence,
there’s a book for that, would you like me to share?/would you like a copy
Time to choose,
I ignore, he persists
Is it going to be me or that figment of your imagination
Yet I ignore, he keeps ranting
Is it going to be me or that figment of your imagination
No comprende!
I remain calm
Can your dreams comfort you?
I stare
Time’s up, you’ve got 30 seconds.
