Price of Liquid Life

When dandy’s waste money in lavish recreation,

The popular frowns rule the scene.

When failing investments drain millions away,

The brightness of life, for some, dims.

Yet rivers of wasted water flow

Daily in drains from dripping taps;

Misused, misplaced is liquid life

And no one seems to bother.

How insanely confused are the standards we live by,

When life is expendable but caprices are not?

And the paper we trade holds more value,

That the source that lets paper to grow!

Price’s not the value that matters the most,

Yet determines despair and commitment.

If for every drop wasted our wallets should cry,

Pure water would cycle without end.

So keep on swimming in the turmoil

Where Money does come first,

But when its lost, and you start crying,

Those tears won’t quench your thirst.
