World Humanitarian Day

World Humanitarian Day is a period to perceive the individuals who face risk and difficulty with a specific end goal to help other people. The day was assigned by the General Assembly to correspond with the commemoration of the 2003 besieging of the United Nations base camp in Baghdad, Iraq.
World Humanitarian Day is additionally a chance to commend the soul that rouses humanitarian work over the  world. In December 2008, the sixty-third session of the UN General Assembly chose to assign 19 August as World Humanitarian Day.
