BETRAYAL

He started it, she ignored it first

He tried again, she accepted it

She didn't only accept it but started thinking about him

She trusted him

He helped her beyond that veil

She started flying

She started dreaming about him

She started following him

At that time, in her mind things that could happen to her were love, loyalty and sincerity

He was cool, always smiling infact laughing

He was a good man with a good heart

Always helping and caring

She confessed it in front of him

He gave her a bitter look

She felt it like everything broke just in a moment

And tears got stuck in her throat

She felt it like a betrayal to her feelings

He betrayed her feelings

This was the reality she had to face

“It was nothing, you assumed it all”

These words totally broke her down

She felt herself like a mad man

Who was decorating his brain with beautiful thoughts

And the things that never happened

It was hard for her to accept that reality

She thought she could read other’s eyes

But she was absolutely wrong

She felt it like it was totally her fault

Or he made her look like that

No doubt he was cool,

She made herself less not only in his eyes but in front of herself too

She used to think herself valuable

But she was totally wrong

Now it was her battle with her feelings and thoughts

Now she had to see the world with a different perspective

She had to accept that embarrassing reality that she made it up all

Indeed, she knew the truth deep down in her heart.
