We are living the in the modern era. The advanced one, Hurrah! We brag about automatic and hi-tech face of the age. Does all this advancement tell the whole truth? The answer would be a loud “No”. Despite having flocks of currency in Banks, shops crammed with commodities, educational institutions on every corner of the street, best outfits to clad, and experts on their toes to advice, we inherit some old barbarian habits. Abducting, abusing, violence and torturing the youth around the globe is one of them. This is another matter that our bumptious persona does not let us peep into reality which is sobbing under the hi-tech settlement of the new millennium.
The reasons can be several of violence against youth e.g. socio-economic conditions, psychological and frail behavioral disorders of parents, siblings, friends, cousins and maters at work places. There is no need to mention here the causes, but the thing is that this practice must not be prolonged.
There are many activists and NGOs working for this cause. There are many laws drafted on this issue, but still the problem prevails on grassroots level. The basic need is the implementation of law. The culprit shouldn't be unfettered; NGOs must help government in true sense rather fumbling and wasting time on useless surveys. The most important and effective stance is that we should stop violence at micro and personal level and report to police in severe condition.
The children (and the young lot) are soft buds still to be blown. Abusing, violence and physical torture can crucify their soul. Do not sow hatred or any kind of negativity in mind as they are future face of our planet. Save youth secure future of your own!
